Mid-Week Updates

Caleb King is practicing this week and should be playing, says Coach Richt.  Hopefully that will get our running game up and running no pun intended.  I have never been impressed with Caleb especially after all the hype he was getting coming in from GAC as a commit he has yet to show up the hype in the 2 years he's been playing.

Shaun Chapas, Georgia’s starting fullback, is questionable for Saturday’s game because of a sprained ankle, Richt said Tuesday.
Chapas injured the ankle in the first half of the South Carolina game and did not play in the second half.
If Chapas can’t play against Arkansas, Fred Munzenmaier will start at fullback.
Like I said the other day, I like Munzenmaier alot, as a FB random slot receiver? ala SC last week, or as a lead blocker even though he got BLOWN UP on one play last week in the 3rd I believe, it was bad.

And, another noon game woo-hoo for Idaho State, and that will be on Channel 2-WSB at 12:30pm.  Its starting to look like at best we'll have one 3pm game Between the Hedges.  Thats miserable, I get it we screwed up last year with the who trash debacle but still, all noon games and maybe a 3pm. Thats horrendous scheduling and boosters will most definitely have their say after this season.  My hope is that the Auburn game will be a night game at least so I can be around one all day tailgating environment this year.  Mississippi State will be sketchy at best at 7pm, I've never been to Starkville but it worries me. Kentucky environment doesn't worry me because, its Kentucky...they forget they even have Football as a scholarship sport half the year.

Last but not least, lets pray for some miracle that news on AJ's suspension comes out today and he's cleared. That would be the greatest asset to the shootout we're headed into this Saturday!
