Caleb King is practicing this week and should be playing, says Coach Richt. Hopefully that will get our running game up and running no pun intended. I have never been impressed with Caleb especially after all the hype he was getting coming in from GAC as a commit he has yet to show up the hype in the 2 years he's been playing.
Shaun Chapas, Georgia’s starting fullback, is questionable for Saturday’s game because of a sprained ankle, Richt said Tuesday.
Chapas injured the ankle in the first half of the South Carolina game and did not play in the second half.
If Chapas can’t play against Arkansas, Fred Munzenmaier will start at fullback.
Like I said the other day, I like Munzenmaier alot, as a FB random slot receiver? ala SC last week, or as a lead blocker even though he got BLOWN UP on one play last week in the 3rd I believe, it was bad.
And, another noon game woo-hoo for Idaho State, and that will be on Channel 2-WSB at 12:30pm. Its starting to look like at best we'll have one 3pm game Between the Hedges. Thats miserable, I get it we screwed up last year with the who trash debacle but still, all noon games and maybe a 3pm. Thats horrendous scheduling and boosters will most definitely have their say after this season. My hope is that the Auburn game will be a night game at least so I can be around one all day tailgating environment this year. Mississippi State will be sketchy at best at 7pm, I've never been to Starkville but it worries me. Kentucky environment doesn't worry me because, its Kentucky...they forget they even have Football as a scholarship sport half the year.
Last but not least, lets pray for some miracle that news on AJ's suspension comes out today and he's cleared. That would be the greatest asset to the shootout we're headed into this Saturday!

Mississippi State 7pm Announced
7pm in Starkville honestly worries me, they played solid against a still unproven Auburn team even though Cam Newton ran all over them. Theres one positive maybe we can have an established run game by then.

Sad Showing in Columbia
First, Marcus Lattimore is for real and is a back to recognize in the SEC. For being a true Freshman, albeit the #1RB and #10 Overall from the 2010 Rivals Class he looked like a man among boys and made our defense look like a PeeWee team trying to tackle.
Considering how well we made Garcia look last year, I suppose we can be happy about our secondary? I'm not so sure and I hope Rambo can buck up against Petrino/Mallet this Saturday or our season is looking rough and we can hope at best for a Chik-fil-a bid.
Aaron looked impressive(14-21,192yds 1TD), for being his first real test against a real SEC team I have no complaints besides maybe backing off the run game after the Washaun fumble and having our longest run in the second half a whopping 5-yards...seriously? Bobo could have given Aaron a few more plays since that seemed to be the only thing working for us in the second half. Chris Durham is really stepping up in AJ's absence along with Marlon and T.K. Logan does not impress me as a reciever, he can get open but doesn't seem to make the effort to get to balls. My question is why not stick Munzenmaier in more plays, he has proven the past 4 years to be a consistent player willing to stick his body out there for plays. His greatest talent is goal line situations or a lead blocker, but his one reception was a big one, only for him to come out. Use him he can literally do it all, give him a chance he has yet to ever let me down in his short reps.
Things to work on for Arkansas
-Tackling...Cmon now Grantham that was embarassing
-Bacarri Needs to show up against Ark, or we are dead in the water.
-Run Game, I haven't heard anything about Caleb's toe but I assume he'll be ready to play. I was on the Washaun wagon all last year even before they burned his redshirt against LSU, but he has alot of making up after that fumble that was the biggest momentum killer we could have had.
-If we show up to a gun fight we better have a bigger gun, Aaron needs to be spot-on,Durham,Brown,TK and Orson need to come to balls and not expect Arkansas' secondary to lay down.
*Heres something to chew on at least, if Athens is the "trashiest" SEC school at least we all don't try and kill each other/Opposing fans after games...2 stabbed, 2 more shootings early Sunday
